Aug 3 Social Security Checks

In a U.S. House committee investigative session it was discovered and proclaimed that the U. S. Treasury will have sufficient funds, with $Billions to spare, to pay the interest on our national debt (no default), all Social Security and Veterans benefits for the month of August 2011. Following the public threat by Barack Obama last week to stop Social Security payments for the month of August, the head of the Social Security Administration was questioned as to how these benefits would not be paid. During that questioning, the committee found that the Social Security Department does not have the authority to issue checks. The Social Security checks are issued by the Treasury Department headed by Timothy Geithner. Even Geithner does not have the authority to NOT issue Social Security payments unless he is directed by President Obama to not issue the checks. BARACK OBAMA, AND OBAMA ALONE, WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IF SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS ARE NOT ISSUED STARTING ON AUGUST 3, 2011. Let us remind ourselves that not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income right off the top before any other taxes. Just because the Federal Government took the money from it's lock box account and wasted it on other things, doesn't make your benifits some kind of charity or handout. IT IS YOUR MONEY. Who on earth does this man think he is that he can, for political gain, threaten those millions of older Americans who have worked all their lives and paid into a program in order to have an income in their retirement years with, in many cases, their only means of support? Barack Obama can blame everything he wants to (and does) on others, but make no mistake about it, if Social Security payments are not received in August, if Veterans benifits arent received, if debt interest isn't paid it is because Barack Obama, and him alone chose not to pay you. Every senior citizen, and indeed, every American should work to remove this man from the White House in 2012 before he destroys this nation.
