The genius of Christina KBo

Much has been said recently about the virtue of compromise. We can scarcely turn on the tv or radio, or click on a hyperlink without a chorus of pundits, lawmakers, and advisors of all stripes touting its glory. But the truth is, the pursuit of "compro...mise-at-all-cost" is just being a stooge. Consider: A man goes to see doctor for a check-up... (My apologies to all the good docs out there, but I wanted to use an analogy the President would be sure to understand.) Doc: "Oooo - that looks like a nasty thorn in your foot. We'll have to take both legs at the hip." Man: "WHAT? That seems like a lot. Let's talk about this." Doc: "Okay - but if we don't decide what to do within ten - no, five - no, three; THREE minutes, we'll have to take the right arm above the elbow." Man: "Just wait a minute - hold on. The thorn is in the right big toe. Why don't you just take it out? Or at most, just take that toe??" Doc: "Oh. Well, that just isn't enough. You have to meet me halfway, at least! (sigh.) I'll tell you what. If we get into surgery right now, we'll agree to just take the two legs. At the hip." Man: "But that's where you started! Besides, my arm is fine - it doesn't have anything to do with the big toe with the thorn in it!" Doc: "It's complicated. You wouldn't understand. Stop wasting time. Here - sign this release form." Man: "But, there's nothing wrong with the other leg. Why are you saying - " Doc: "You're obstructing! Stop obstructing, start compromising, and sign the form. Don't worry about reading it. That's thorn's not getting any better, you know." Man: "Okay, okay. I'll tell you what. You can take the one leg, below the knee." Doc: "You don't even understand the gift you're getting. You realize that you will get a super-sweet prosthetic, right?" Man: "Sorry, I didn't realize. But still, just the one leg, below the knee." Doc: "Alright. But this isn't over." The man wakes up to find one leg gone - above the knee... but what’s worse, a hot, throbbing big toe where the thorn still sits; but now it's infected. This? THIS... is not "compromise." It's slow-motion suicide. Yet this is precisely the scenario We the People deal with time and again: One side offers an idea that is off-the-rails, super-ridiculous (I’m looking at you, big spenders *cough*Bush*Obama*cough*), and the other side is bludgeoned with calls to “compromise.” The problem is, compromising from “super-ridiculous” not only lends credence to imbecility, it often produces a result that is in-and-of itself, “ridiculous” - and that is considered a victory! Let’s take a quick look at the April 15th Continuing Resolution as an example. Republicans declared they wanted to cut $100 billion dollars of spending. Democrats quickly responded by saying they want to add “only” about $100 billion dollars of spending (the compromise being the status quo). The $100 billion in cuts were suddenly compromised to $60 billion; with a partial government shutdown taken off the table. A short time later, $60 billion settled at $38 billion. Using what can only be described as “new math,” Democrats announced they agreed to $78 billion in cuts. Republicans quickly adopted the talking point - maybe they thought it made them look more successful. Then, the truth came out that the cuts actually amount to $352 million. To put this in perspective, we are set to post over $1 trillion in new debt this year; making the compromise a whopping .035% cut in spending - or about three one-hundredths of one penny for every dollar of new debt. This amount is more commonly known as “zero.” Absurd compromises are not the only examples of ridiculous. To wit: · Congress has not passed a budget in more than two years - RIDICULOUS! · Congress passed an2300+ page Health Care Reform Bill that increases government spending by unknown amounts (est. $893 billion annually*) - RIDICULOUS · Congress passed ANOTHER 2300+ page Financial Reform Bill, piling on even more government spending (est. economic impact unknown) - RIDICULOUS! · By the end of 2011, the United States of America will owe $15.6 trillion* of debt - RIDICULOUS! · Each year, for the foreseeable future, government spending levels will add on an additional $1-1.5 trillion* of new debt - RIDICULOUS! · Since 1996, the debt has grown over $10 trillion; half of that since 2008* - RIDICULOUS! Source: US Treasury / * CBO estimates Recently, Moody’s analyst Steven Hess floated a clever little suggestion. Complaining about “periodic uncertainty” in the bond markets, he helpfully offered that the Debt Limit should be raised automatically or even removed altogether. “We would reduce our assessment of event risk if the government changed its framework for managing government debt to lessen or eliminate that uncertainty.” Well jeepers, Mr. Hess - we can’t eliminate the debt limit, but in the spirit of compromise, we’ll just raise it again. See how that works? Ridiculous ideas deserve ridicule, not consideration; and certainly not the dignity of compromise. Look: We are tired of the ridiculousness. We are sick of the theater. We are insulted by the dishonest manipulation of the numbers. We are exasperated by the phony deadlines. But perhaps more than anything, we are disappointed and saddened. Disappointed by the men and women we elected, and had such high hopes for; and saddened by their display of such a shockingly pedestrian understanding of us, our expectations, and our level of concern and comprehension of the fiscal mess we are in right now. And for the President - or any elected official - to deride us because we see through their bluster to the truth and dare to call them on it is nothing short of offensive. After all, we are the ones footing the bill. If our elected officials are unwilling or unable to do the job we elected them to do, it’s time for them to step aside and go home. I’ll put my hand up to volunteer to go to D.C. and we can work this out without all the puffing and posturing. I’ve got a deal memo ready to go. Who’s with me?See More

Aug 3 Social Security Checks

In a U.S. House committee investigative session it was discovered and proclaimed that the U. S. Treasury will have sufficient funds, with $Billions to spare, to pay the interest on our national debt (no default), all Social Security and Veterans benefits for the month of August 2011. Following the public threat by Barack Obama last week to stop Social Security payments for the month of August, the head of the Social Security Administration was questioned as to how these benefits would not be paid. During that questioning, the committee found that the Social Security Department does not have the authority to issue checks. The Social Security checks are issued by the Treasury Department headed by Timothy Geithner. Even Geithner does not have the authority to NOT issue Social Security payments unless he is directed by President Obama to not issue the checks. BARACK OBAMA, AND OBAMA ALONE, WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IF SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS ARE NOT ISSUED STARTING ON AUGUST 3, 2011. Let us remind ourselves that not only did you contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income right off the top before any other taxes. Just because the Federal Government took the money from it's lock box account and wasted it on other things, doesn't make your benifits some kind of charity or handout. IT IS YOUR MONEY. Who on earth does this man think he is that he can, for political gain, threaten those millions of older Americans who have worked all their lives and paid into a program in order to have an income in their retirement years with, in many cases, their only means of support? Barack Obama can blame everything he wants to (and does) on others, but make no mistake about it, if Social Security payments are not received in August, if Veterans benifits arent received, if debt interest isn't paid it is because Barack Obama, and him alone chose not to pay you. Every senior citizen, and indeed, every American should work to remove this man from the White House in 2012 before he destroys this nation.

Research from Karen Kirk

The Congressional Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act of 2008 indicates that the yearly operating expense of the White House was $12,814,000. Or, about $35,106 a day. These expenses include: “maintenance, repair and alteration, refurnishing, improvement, heating, and lighting, including electric power and fixtures, of the Executive Residence at the White House and official entertainment expenses of the President…”
If only the answer were that simple to procure. The real answer is exceedingly complicated. In addition to the annual congressional budget for the operation of the White House, there are over 22 other budget accounts, in 13 different departments, that pay the expenses and salaries of the White House staff. Defining what constitutes “The White House” is also difficult. In his book, To Serve the President, Bradley H. Patterson argues that there are 23 separate accounts that make up the costs of the White House. Some of these accounts include the President’s Salary, the National Archives and Records Administration, the National Security Council, the Department of State, and so on. As Patterson notes, finding the real cost of the White House is almost impossible. The funding for these various White House functions are buried within numerous appropriation bills, some of which are classified. However, Patterson provides a ball park figure by tallying the following expenses.

Compensation of the president (including an expense allowance of $50,000): $ 450,000
The Executive Residence operating expenses: $12,814,000

WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS

Bird’s Point Aftermath Isn’t Over

On May 2nd the Army Corps of Engineers blew a two-mile long hole on the north end of Bird’s Point Levee in southeastern Missouri. The levee was holding and doing its job, and the reason given for blowing this levee was to save the already evacuated town of Cairo, Illinois. Then early morning of May 3rd, they blew a “drain hole” in the southern section of the levee. Throughout this article, I ask that the reader keep the dimensions of this levee and the two mile wide hole in the levee in mind. The levee is 64 feet tall, about 200 feet across at the base, and the hole that was blown is now approximately 12 feet below the surrounding ground level. While much has been written about this levee’s destruction, not much has been written of the “on the ground” effects of the ACE action.

When ACE blew the one quarter mile long drain hole, it was only 12 hours after they blew the 2 mile wide hole on the north side of the levee. The water on the south side was still very, very high and instead of letting water out of the flooded area, it let more water in and created a tornado type vortex where the rushing waters met in the midst of the flood way. The influx of water across the two-mile wide blow-hole was estimated to be up to 4.1 million gallons per second. Official records indicate that the blowing of the levee dropped the river levels at Cairo, Illinois less than 1 foot in 24 hours.

The town of Cairo (pronounced Kay-Ro in the local vernacular) is home to approximately 2,800 people. The town is largely boarded up, and much is in poor repair, but still home to more people than the ones whose property was destroyed by the Bird’s Point levee detonation. However, productivity and national security should also factor into intentionally sacrificing one area for another area. When one looks at the aerial view in this video, you get a sense of the size variance between Cairo and the area flooded by the levee detonation. The land mass inundated by water from the blowing of Bird’s Point is approximately 200 square miles. The total landmass of Cairo is 9.1 square miles. There were roughly 100 homes and farms destroyed by the detonation of the levee.

With a myriad of reports from the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN) and even the USDA predicting food price increases and shortages this fall, the destruction of 200 square miles of some of the most fertile farmland in the world should do more than raise an eyebrow. As this story will demonstrate, the actual destruction of this farmland is much more than the loss of one growing season. If several professors get their way, this land may never again be productive farmland. They think it should be left to become wetlands. Considering the state of the national economy, they just may get their way.

Rebuilding the levee would be a monumental expense. While there is a 25 million dollar class action suit in progress against the Army Corps of Engineers by those whose properties and livelihoods were destroyed by the levee being blown, compensation for those filing suit is far from guaranteed.

We Can’t Stay Focused

Since we have been well conditioned to remain interested in topics for only a short amount of time, it isn’t surprising that only one story in mainstream media covered some of the actual destruction that occurred in the Bird’s Point Levee blow up. The levee is, of course, still home to a two mile wide hole; and as anyone familiar with geography knows, the Missouri River flows right into the Mississippi above the Bird’s Point levee breach. This will invariably flood the 200 square miles of land again, and what little has been planted, is very likely to be flooded out again.

In mid June, Bob Parker, a farmer, rancher and realtor (who was also a 2010 contender for the Republican seat in Missouri’s 8th district) took a full day tour of the area affected by the levee’s intentional breach. “People think of this as a ‘flood’,” says Parker, “but this was nothing like the common perception of a flood where the water just rises steadily. This was more like a giant flush, complete with the vortex. The truth about what has happened here must get out to the American people.”

There is a picture of Bob Parker and Al Marshall, a resident and farmer in the area, in front of one of the several mini Grand Canyons created by the massive influx of water. Parker said, “These canyons runs for miles and are at times close to half a mile wide and 15 or 20 feet deep across these fields. How is anyone supposed to farm that?”

Wheat Crop Destroyed and Land Unusable

While interviewing Bob about his tour of the Bird’s Point levee, he shared nearly 100 photos he had taken of the area. In one picture, a man is bent down over flattened wheat. “About 10 percent of this land was in wheat that was ready for harvest when they blew the levee,” says Bob. “The problem is that this wheat was laid down and cannot be tilled under because the equipment just gets tangled and it’s impossible to get underneath the wheat to till the soil.”

Since there is no way to put livestock on this land because there is no fencing in the area, and it would likely kill the stock if they were put on it because of molding under the wheat, there is nothing to do but wait for the wheat to decompose. Some have tried to burn it off, but with the Missouri River flooding into the Mississippi and no levee in place to protect these fields, it would be a lesson in futility to try to reclaim the land under the wheat.

The early wheat crop in the country was devastated all along the Ohio River Valley. Extreme drought in west Kansas has reportedly claimed more wheat, along with the massive flooding along the Missouri River and the destruction of those farms and their crops. All of this adds up to a shortage of a major staple crop in a nation that has severely reduced stockpiling as a hedge against just such disasters.

No FEMA, No Officials, Yet Two Days Later They are Rebuilding the Levee?

Mr. Parker toured the devastated farmland on June 13th. On June 16th there were reports that the Army Corps of Engineers was beginning to rebuild the levee to a height of 51 feet. Articles from June 16th and 17th proudly proclaim the levee is being rebuilt right now, but when you read the articles, it is clear that they are really just in the preparatory stages of thinking about rebuilding the levee. Yet when Bob was there, they only saw one official all day. This singular official was a Missouri Conservation agent.

Residents say that a fifty-one foot levee is of little help because the river reaches that height every year. They do concede that while it is insufficient, it is much better than nothing; they just wonder when it will be done. Currently, there are no cost estimates available regarding the construction of this fifty-one foot replacement levee, and all articles discussing the rebuilding solidly indicate that the project is subject to funding approval.

Parker and the gentlemen giving him the tour went to both the north blow out point and the south “drain hole”, and saw no one from the Army Corps of Engineers at either place. I have asked for photographs of the six man crew that is reportedly working on smoothing the breach in preparation for reconstruction and, as yet, have not received any shots of the crew at Bird’s Point levee. They may very well be there and doing what is reported, but in this day and age, pictures are almost always readily available.

What about Crop Insurance? Or just plain Insurance?

USDA Secretary Vilsack says that the farmers who have lost the chance to grow crops this year will be allowed to receive payments under the crop insurance plan. However, those payments will not meet the total amount already spent by farmers prior to the levee being blown.

The reported estimated costs for early season planting are about 57 million dollars. The Crop Insurance payout is estimated by the University of Missouri to leave a loss of roughly 42.5 million dollars. The estimated crop income loss for this single season (with a low-ball figure attached to corn) is 85 million dollars. None of this covers the homes, outbuildings, irrigation systems, equipment, chemicals, pesticides, or infrastructure destroyed by the blowing of Bird’s Point. There are no available estimates of the actual cost of all the damage.

Also, believe it or not, not every single homeowner in the entire 200 square mile area was a farmer with crop insurance through the USDA. Some of these people were just run of the mill homeowners. Because of the way the Federal government maneuvered to take the land via condemnation in the 1930’s, there is a very serious doubt that any of the homes destroyed will be covered by any type of insurance whatsoever.

According to Parker, the people who were not actually farmers and lost everything in this blow-out, have received only promises. Parker says, “When I was visiting there, two men were cleaning out a house and had hooked up a truck to a flooded vehicle. I stopped and spoke with them, and they were taking their sister’s car in for salvage for $500 so she could feed her children. The house had been their sister’s home and they were taking out anything that still useable. It was totaled. Every house I stopped in smelled like a swamp, and this was no exception.”

Parker said the story was the same with everyone he encountered. They have been told to go to meetings where they are to learn more about what they can expect to receive for their loss of property and at those meetings, they are told to put their names on a list and someone will contact them. Parker continues, “That’s as far as it goes. Put your name on a list and wait. Meanwhile, you still need to eat, pay bills and clothe yourself.”

“Evidently the one constant that residents hear” says Parker, “is that the USDA is going to offer low interest loans for rebuilding. No one knows when this might happen, but that is what they hear.” Parker, who has been in real estate for years continues, “With the levee not having been rebuilt, and the Missouri River still rising and flooding, banks are not going to lend money for construction in an open floodway.”

History is Not Repeating in Mississippi County

Brother Bennett, who was born in the area, and has lived there for nearly all of his 88 years, related his firsthand accounts of previous floods in the New Madrid floodway. This gentleman is a retired US Marine and pastor, and he is not the kind of guy who runs from much of anything. Bennett ran a store on the ground floor of his home and still lives on the second story, which he shared with his wife until she passed away. Bob says, “He was just a wonderful man to visit with; a real inspiration to those of us who love freedom and independence. He ran a small store in the area for years, and about 10 years ago, someone came to rob him and he pulled a .357 on the guy and the would be robber ran away.”

Mr. Bennett explained that he had been there for all these floods, and showed Parker marks he’d made on a post in his store indicating the level the water reached in the 1972 flood, which was about 20 inches from the floor, and again in 1975, which was roughly 23 inches from the first floor height. So when officials came to make sure Bennett had evacuated, he told them he’d made it through all the other floods, and wasn’t going to leave his home for this one. They forcibly evacuated him.

The reports were that the water to be released by blowing the levee might reach heights of four to five feet. However, this time, the water went 20 inches above his second story floor level. So the water level was eight or nine feet higher than the previous all time high and almost twice the projected level.

Trying to Count the Costs

It is seemingly impossible to count the real cost of restoring this 200 square mile area to pre-blow out status. Nearly every single story home in the floodway was covered above ceiling level. When water goes into the attic, it is virtually impossible to save that home unless you rip out all the drywall immediately and get it drying out. The “grand canyons” cannot be readily filled in, and the sand that is covering the southern end isn’t something that can just be swept up.

Considering many of the 678 contracts (see ‘maneuvering’ article above) the government signed with landowners in the 1930’s vary substantially, and that there is no available estimate on the cost of re-building the levee, that one single year of crop loss is about 85 million dollars, that this land will largely be unworkable for several years if ever, and that insurance pay outs are highly questionable because of the contracts mentioned above. It is all just one giant financial question mark.

What we can know is that the loss of this highly productive farmland will soon be felt by consumers. The loss of livelihood, farms, homes, hopes and dreams are being felt right now, quite heavily in Bird’s Point. No matter what basis you use to assign value to land, homes, and the lives dependent upon them, one thing is certain. The people who live in cities must eat, and cities cannot grow food in sufficient quantities to feed their residents. Literally destroying fertile land to save structures that cannot feed people is a cost that we will all pay in time.

Shouldn't We Impeach This Guy?

A Coil of Rage

The character of any man is defined by how he treats his mother as the years pass .... need I say more about this person below other than there is no character, no integrity but there is a ton of attitude and arrogance that defines his shallow past and hollow future .... I rest my case.

I bought and read Audacity of Hope. It was difficult to read considering his attitude toward us and everything American. Let me add a phrase he uses to describe his attitude toward whites. He harbors a "COIL OF RAGE". His words not mine.

THIS IS OUR PRESIDENT Is anyone out there awake?

Everyone of voting age should read these two books: Don't buy them, just get them from the library.

From Dreams From My Father:

"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

From Dreams From My Father :
"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

From Dreams From My Father:

"There was something about her that made me wary, a little too sure of herself, maybe and white."

From Dreams From My Father:

"It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From Dreams From My Father:

"I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself: the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."

And FINALLY ........... and most scary:

From Audacity of Hope:

"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

We have someone with this mentality running our GREAT nation! Keep your eye on him and don't blink.

I don't care whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a Conservative or a liberal, be aware of the attitude and character of this sitting President.

I am proud to be in America by Rockford Tea

You Could Have Hear a Pin Drop
I didn't write this...just copied it from an email. True or not it is true. JFK'S Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France in the early 60's when DeGaulle decided to pull out of NATO. DeGaulle said he wanted all US military out of France as soo...n as possible. Rusk responded, "Does that include those who are buried here?" DeGaulle did not respond. You could have heard a pin drop. When in England at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of 'empire building' by George Bush He answered by saying, "Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return." You could have heard a pin drop. There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying, "Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intend to do, bomb them?" A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: "Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?" You could have heard a pin drop. A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?" Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied, "Maybe it's because the Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German." You could have heard a pin drop AND THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE... Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane. At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on. "You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically. Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously. "Then you should know enough to have your passport ready." The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it." "Impossible...Americans always have to show their passports on arrival in France !" The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen to show a passport to." You could have heard a pin drop.

Food for thought from my friend Roy

Why do supermarkets make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

Why do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

Why do banks leave vault doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

Why do we leave cars worth thousands of pounds in our driveways and put our useless junk in the garage.

Why do we buy hamburgers in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight..

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavouring, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

P A R T A !!!!! WA-HOO!!!!

Let's P A R T A !!!! Body shots, salsa, hot bod contest.....yahoo!!! OH DAMN! I forgot about the kid. Oh well. I'll make her go to sleep with some choloform.Course I'll also need to duck tape her mouth so she won't make any noise. I can wrap her in her blanket and put her in the trunk of the car, cause then I'll know where she is...that'll work. I won't have to pay for a babysitter, and I certainly won't have to listen to my folks telling me what to do.

P A R T A on!!!!!Love to dance, love to drink, love the guys.....PARTA!!!!

Boy, I sure have been having a good time. Now where did I leave my car? Oh yeah...there it is. Oh man, what is that smell? Something rotten in the trunk, maybe. Ah-Oh....

I guess I better get some trash bags. Wonder how many it will take. Two? Three? I'll start with two. I can always use the laundry bag if I need to.Wow.....wonder if I should take it to the dumpster behind the 7-11. No. Somebody might see me dump it. Oh I know.....I'll go to the swamp where we use to get rid of our pets.Nobody will find it there.

Now I've got to figure out what to tell my parents when they want to know where she is. Oh I know... I'll say the babysitter kidnaped her, and that I've been looking for her for a month. That will also explain where I have been. They love me....they'll believe me.

Think I'll get a tattoo.Hummm! Wonder what it should say.

Happy Independence Day!

As I celebrate today I remember that America is a miracle. When the colonists were fighting for freedom the odds were against them. They were outnumbered and outgunned. The rational choice for the colonist was to stay home and not try. We celebrate today because they ignored the odds. They stood on principal. Many gave their lives because they would rather die than live under tyranny.

Independence day reminds us that the harder the battle the sweeter the victory. We still celebrate this day because America is such a miracle. Our government was created to defend freedom of the individual, not the rulers. That had never happened before in all of human history. That new idea created a society that attracted the most adventurous people in the world. America prospered and became a world leader because the fundamental purpose of government was changed. This new idea is reflected in our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.

Today as we drift further and further from this idea that government exists to defend freedom, our prosperity fades. As we celebrate the miracle of our independence from the tyranny of King George, we must re-dedicate ourselves to the fight against tyranny from our own government. Our government must be reminded that its sole purpose for existence is to defend freedom.

I hope we all enjoy this day and use it to re-energize ourselves, so that we can win the fight before us. Like our ancestors, we will win our battle, and the victory will be sweet.

Thank you all for fighting to preserve America's Miracle by joining our class action battles to take back our Constitutional Republic.

Dale Lindsborg of the Washington Post

Yes, he told us in advance what he planned to do. Few were listening .

The following is a narrative taken from a 2008 Sunday morning televised "Meet The Press'.

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

NOW GET THIS !!

'Senator' Obama replied: "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

(ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???)

Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level
of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of waring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ....."

When I become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past".

"Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the United States and I have put my hatred aside . I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America "

WHAAAAAAAT, the Hell is that???
