Oprah,Oprah, Oprah!

Jay Leno appeared on Oprah the other day and was asked about a joke he made on his show about David Letterman. Oprah gave Jay a real dressing down saying she felt it was beneath him to make such a comment about Letterman.

I wonder if she has made the same comment to Letterman for the vulgar nasty comments he has made and continues to make about Sarah Palin. Even after it was made known that Letterman was having sex with persons on his staff, he continues to bad mouth against Palin.

So step up Oprah and rake Letterman over the coals for his snide comments against Palin and her family. After all, fair is fair. If Leno was wrong to make a point about Letterman and his immoral behavior, then why keep silent when Palin is being bashed, and made the butt of Letterman's vile mouth?

We all know now what a hypoctire Letterman is, and we also know he is no authority on moral behavior. So let's not give Leno a hard time for saying it like it is, when the same courtsey isn't being given to the Palin family.

The Sissy Duckling

Yesterday afternoon on HBO there was a cartoon which showed a rating of G Children.I read the short description which said this was a very sweet children's story about a little duck whose friends made fun of him because he wasn't good at sports.

I was about to turn my DVR on to record this for my grandchildren, but something told me to watch it for a few minutes.Well, no surprise that good old Hollywood is at it again.

This duck, while he is described as a cute little duck, is screaming gay. Once again the gay rights agenda is being pushed on our kids under the guise of normal sweet little story.

I looked the info up on the internet and once again I was not surprised. The book produced by Sharon Stone and features voice by Kathy Najimy, both very vocal in their support of gay agenda. It also features the voices of Melissa Etheridge and Dan Butler, who are both homosexual. I don't know if there were others of this bent involved in other aspects of the cartoon, but clearly those involved were pushing the gay agenda.

It is a very sad time in America when an immoral, unhealthy lifestyle can be pushed to our children trying to indoctrinate them into believing this is the norm.

Parents just need to be on their toes. Check everything out. Those who would do harm are everywhere and they will stop at nothing to force their sick agenda down our throats.

The idiots are at it again

Just when I think I have heard every stupid thing the Government has done, along comes another real crazy story.

The Chesapeake Bay area have approximately 80-90 homeowners who are at risk of their houses sliding down a cliff as the earth erodes away. The problem is an endangered beetle, yes, beetle, which burrows into the earth and stays there for about 1 year.

The homeowners want to build a retaining wall to prevent their homes from sliding down this cliff, but they are being stopped by the Dept. of Natural Resources. These morons put more value on a bug then the property belonging to 80-90 people. Some of these homeowners have poured their life savings into their homes which are now at risk just to save a B U G ! It doesn't get too much crazier than that.

I thought when the government shut the water off denying the San Joaquine Valley residents irrigation for their crops and fields, that that was about as nutty this government could get......but letting 80-90 homes slide down a 100 foot cliff is just about as stupid as if can get.

The insanity of these officials makes me question the priorities they place on the citizens of this country. Are we just to be treated as pawns in whatever ridiculous scheme they come up with next. What dopey idea will cross their desk the next time? Can they allow themselves to ever rule on the side of the people, or they always goind to rule on the side of the stupid environmentalist?

When the people lose all their property, when their lands have dried up, when their crops no longer produce, when the people go broke, then will you genius rule makers enjoy controlling a land where the bugs, fish and fruit flies prevail but the people are extinct?

Do us a favor and get a reality check. Bugs and fish don't vote, but people do. Keep up your idiot methods and you will be looking for another job. The people are sick and tired of being ignored and most definitely we are tired of your pathetic management of the interior of this country. The land, parks, and waterways belong to the people. Stop creating problems for America.

Conservatives wake up

Two Republicans, both running for the Senate in 2010, one from Deleware, one from Illinois are left leaning liberals. If the conservatives in the Republican party are smart they will find better candidates for these two races. The last thing we need is another RINO being sent to the Senate.

Arlen Specter switching to the Democratic party was a small loss as he has behaved like a RINO for a very long time. However, we don't need to get behind these two liberal Republicans. The conservative movement is on the comeback and we need to invest our time and energy behind those who uphold conservative values.

We let the news media "pick" or Presidential candidate in 2008, let's not be stupid and allow this to happen again. We must find and support solid conservative candidates if we have any hope of taking our country back from these progressives. They are in the process of ruining our country and there are many things that must be reversed for the sake of the country.

There are many Senators who either need to retire or resign. They have been in office too long and have not performed very well. They spend all their time feathering their own nest.

Many Senators are in jeopardy and rightly so. Failure to do the people's business and
and putting into action programs that the majority of the people are against is insane, and is going to cost them their jobs.

I have my own personal favorites of Senators who I think should be kicked to the curb. Among them Patrick Leahy, Dick Durbin,Barbara Boxer,Arlen Specter, Harry Reid,Chuck Schumer,John Kerry, Carl Levin,Ben Nelson,Al Franken,Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Debbie Stabenow, Diane Feinstein. I am understanding that Chris Dodd and Byron Dorgan won't run again, to which I say "Thank God".

We just need some fresh faces and people who put the will of the people above their own selfish desires. Come forth all of you grand Conservatives. We know you are out there somewhere.

Where are the jobs?

When Obama took office the unemployment rate was nearing 8%. They all talked the big talk promising to create jobs and make that task their #1 priority. As Biden put it, the people want a three letter word J O B S. Good old Joe. Never a gaff he couldn't pull off with flare.

One year into Obama's term and the unemployment rate is now over 10 % and still rising. Where are those jobs that were to come out of the stimulus? The people are worried and getting more frustrated everyday. When you Dems campaign on making jobs a priorty you need to deliver.

Since Obama has taken office 3 million people have joined the unemployed in this country. That isn't counting those whose benefits have dried up, and the chronically unemployed have given up on finding a job.

Yet each day on the news the talking heads rave about how much Obama has done and all the jobs he has created. I believe the talking points today must have gotten their signals mixed because David Axelrod said 2 million jobs, Valerie Jarrett said thousands and thousands of jobs while Robert Gibbs said the count was over 1 1/2 million. Now which is it folks? You can't all be right. Frankly, counting people who weren't laid off isn't a new job!

Meanwhile, people are hurting, people can't meet their obligations, they can't pay their house payment and all we get is talk, talk talk. It's time you deliver on all the BIG promises you laid on us. Talk is cheap. It's time to man up and deliver.

Obama and the rest of the Dems are not listening to the people. You were voted into office because you were going to be different. Frankly, you are different. I wish we had Bush back. At least when Bush was President, we were safer, I personally had more money, fewer bills and more benefits. Now our future is bleak.

If the Dems don't pick it up and do the work they promised to do, they will be answered by the people at the polls. People are mad. You would be wise to wake up.

Great Orator

I can't get over the vision of Obama, standing in front of a classroom of sixth graders, giving a speech while using a teleprompter. Is there no limit? If this doesn't say it all about this man's ability to be the world's greatest living orator, I don't know what ever would.

It still boggles my mind that his ability to speak was one of the biggest selling points made by the media. So enraptured with his skills at the podium that other speakers paled in comparison. But let the prompter get a line off, or not move at the required speed, and Obama is just a flutter. He stumbles, stammers, slurs and can't pull it together. He visibly shows his anger when those responsible for the handling of the prompter fail to do their job perfectly.

But when he can't make a speech to sixth graders without a teleprompter......what is this world coming to?

I do believe when we go to the polls to elect our next President we should set the bar a little higher and actually expect our President to be more than a speech reader. We need to look for real job skills, real knowledge, real experience, and be more than just someone with a gift of gab. All the speeches in the world aren't going to matter if the person making the speech isn't qualified for the job.

Healthcare ram down

Are these Dems stupid or just too stubborn to be in the real world. Does the election in Ma. last Tues. not tell them enough about the state of the healthcare bill? Is it that they just can't take no for an answer, or refuse to listen to the people when we speak, no, when we shout, that we don't want what they are selling.

They are determined to ram this crazy bill down our throats, regardless of the fact that the majority of the American people have said no, and continue to say NO! They have gone way beyond defiance. They are bordering on insanity when they continue their programs without the consent of the people. We have said no. Is there any part of that that you Liberals don't understand? Must we put all of you out of office for you to listen to what we are saying?

The handwriting is on the wall. If you stupid Liberals continue with this ridiculous path you can and will be voted out of office. Too many of you have been in Washington for too long. You have lost track of reality. You were sent to do the people's work, yet you are doing party politics instead. You work for us, not we for you.

The races in Va. NJ and Ma should have been a wake up call to you, but you are either too stupid or too full of your own ego to realize that you will also be sent home. The people are taking America back and if it means flushing the toilet in Washington and getting rid of all of you, we will. None of you are so wonderful that you can't be replaced easily.Seen one stooge, you've seen them all. Liberals just seem to be interchangeable.

Go back behind your closed doors and decide that for once you want to listen to the people, you want to play nice with the Rep. and that you are going to do a good job for the people who put you in office.Might surprise you to find out that you will have people in your corner when your stop working for yourselves and start working for your constituents.

Gitmo

One year ago Obama declared he was closing Gitmo within the year. The time has come and gone and Gitmo remains open. Perhaps in his gusto to show his authority he rushed this proposal before researching how to go about this task. Be that his macho pride, fool hardy determination or extreme lack of experience, the job was going to be more difficult than he gave Bush credit for.

Obama was quick to place blame on Bush, as he has done for everything that has occurred in the past 8 years. How easy it is to stand on the other side and pass judgement, but once he was placed in office and took the reins he needs more than a lot of hot air to do what he thought should be done. How easy it is to play the blame game, but he obviously doesn't have a plan of his own.I wonder if the next President will blame everything on the improper handling by Obama. "What goes around, comes around".

Closing Gitmo is a huge problem, so why did Obama jump in with this determination to do so? Is this his tough guy, let me show you what I can do image,or is this his God complex that he can perform that which no one else can? In any event, this will create an enormous problem of what to do with these detainees. Allowing them to lawyer up is the nuttiest part of this. What rules are being followed that allows enemy combatants the rights as citizens?

This year has shown this man is not ready for the daunting task of being President. It takes more than a lot of speech reading, parties at the White House, flying around on Air Force One, and bowing to foreign kings to be a real leader. He has apologized for America all over the world, insulted our allies, and ignored friends like Israel. The man is in over his head.

The elections in Va. NJ and Ma have shown that the people are angry. Promises were made and they have not been kept. Lies were told, closed door meetings instead of the transparency that was guaranteed.Obama said he didn't do a good job in telling us what was good for us. We heard, we just aren't buying. All in all, Obama is not the man for the job.

Hopefully the next three years will pass quickly so we can get a serious candidate qualified to do the job can come in and clean up his mess.

Glenn Beck

I just finished watching Glenn Beck's special on the revolutionary holocaust. To say this was eye opening is an understatement. I had knowledge of some of the information shown, but was absolutely stunned by some of the footage. Although I knew all the names of the people in the report, I had no direct knowledge of their participation in some of these activities.

I had long been a fan of Shaw, but now I am so stunned by his actions it sickens me. I don't think his work will ever mean the same to me again.

Unfortunately, as Beck says, a lot of this information is not being told in the history books and will be lost to coming generations if it is not archived by people who value history. In the hands of Liberals is not the place for this information to be deposited. They have a habit of creating their own view of what happen.

This program should be see by everyone, lest we forget or worse never know. Beck deserves a reward for this fine piece of journalism. I hope the powers that be will do so.

Haiti

As the aid continues to pour into Haiti, the problems are not getting solved fast enough for those who are suffering. With so much damage and so many dead or injured, one begins to wonder just where to begin. Naturally food and water are a vital need, but getting supplies to the people is a daunting task.

Roads are impassable, debris and bodies make just getting through nearly impossible. The tragedy of watching people waiting for first aid and a drink of water makes all of our ridiculous problems pale when compared.I can't get my head around my child being hurt and me not being about to get help for them. The thought makes me sick.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those effected by this earthquake. If anything good ever comes from a tragedy such as this it is watching nations from all around the world coming together in one common theme......to help with whatever needs to be done for the victims. The coming together for a human condition with one goal in mind is the way we should treat each other in a perfect world.

How ironic that the terrorist in the middle east continue to do their holy war, with no mind for the suffering in Haiti. Only their blind rage against anything not Muslim. Yet these same volunteers have rushed to places in the middle east when tragedy occurs. How soon they forget.

Conan OBrian

I just heard that NBC is paying Conan OBrian an astounding $33 mil to leave the tonight show. I wonder if our President will step in and say this is too much for this man to be paid for leaving a show that lasted only 7 months. What are the chances that his pay will be cut by the same people who cut the Wall Street executives pay packages? My guess is that since he is a fan of Obama he will probably be left with his fortune in tact. Hmmmmm! Makes you wonder, right?

Conan O

Glenn Beck

The Glenn Beck show on Fri. 1-22-10 is doing a show that is intended to both shock and educate. He describes it as a revolutionary holocaust. It has old film footage, unseen by generations of people, and the people who witnessed the happenings are probably dead by now. It is his belief that history is being recreated by ignoring the happenings of ages gone by. He advises people to get their DVR ready to record for further study.

Thanks to the efforts of Glenn Beck for the past year especially, he has kept us informed and enlightened about the nonsense happening each day in Washington. Glenn has probably forgotten more about history than some of us ever learn. He has an uncanny way of digging in deep and coming up with some very sensational stories. With his many special guests, who add their knowledge and commentary, Glenn has become one of the major voices of common sense heard today.

Thanks Glenn for all you do and all the lives you have touched. You are certainly leaving your footprint in the sand.

Hooray for Scott Brown

The eternal lib Robert Gibbs can't bring himself to believe this election was a message to Obama and the Dems. This poor soul has been in denial for so long he can't find the road back to reality. He has such disdain for the "tea baggers" and dismisses their efforts to bring about change in America. So loyal to his boss (and so busy making excuses for him) that he can't bring himself to believe that anything is wrong in lala land.

Well, the people are speaking, but when will the Dems start to listen? They don't seem to have heard from the last few Republican victories. What is it going to take for these people to figure out that we don't want what they are selling. They are so busy pushing their ridiculous agenda and THE PEOPLE are fed up. 2010 is coming and there is going to be an uprising in this country. Stop trying to force these programs down our throats.

We love our country, believe in our Constitution and we don't like the direction our country is going. This President has weakened us in the eyes of the rest of the world. He has put us at greater risk from the terrorist by trying to close Gitmo and not using military officials to deal with the captives. Holder is putting us in jeopardy by wanting to hold the trials in New York City.He has harmed the CIA by not allowing them to do their job without government intervention.Pelosi has lied about the CIA and tried to discredit their position. She had better hope they don't turn their back when SHE needs them.

The Dems better listen, and listen good. We are fed up. We are tired of the lies. We are tired of the out of control spending. We are tired of the government not listening to us. WE ARE THE BOSS. THEY SERVE AT OUR PLEASURE, AND WE ARE NOT PLEASED.

Tue election in Massachusetts

Hopefully the weather won't keep people away from the polls today. Some people get very complacent in off year election years and don't exercise their right to vote. That would be a shame to squander a vote by being too lazy or uninterestd in the race to turn out. Every American who is not happy with the direction this country is headed needs to be at the polls. If you don't get out and vote, don't complain when things don't go your way.

Let the great example of the tea parties exercising their right to protest these policies which are harming our country, energize voter turn out.Hopefully this will be a fair election.

God Bless America.

oops

After rereading my earlier posting I have decided that I should not try to type without my glasses, especially when I am in a hurry. Oops. I really do know Newt Gingrich's name and I can usually manage to spell even 7 letter words. I was just brain dead earlier. I guess that is still partly because of my recent hospitalization and too many new drugs. Oh well. I will try to do better in the future.

I was watching the news this evening and once again I noticed that the field reporters always manage to pick the dumbest person in the crowd to interview. He picked a pro-choice advocate in Houston. The brilliant statement out of her mouth was, that pro-life people want planned parenthood closed down because they don't believe in healthcare for woman. Okay. Could someone take this moron aside and explain the purpose of the protest. Poor misguided soul actually thinks this is about denying healthcare. GAD! I pray for strength to live in the same world with these idiots.

Do you think they will ever get it? It seems that the Dems have dumbed down their followers for so long that this makes sense to most of them. When you hear one Dem. you have heard them all. They recite out of the same book and repeat the same words. It get very discouraging trying to talk sense to people who just DON'T GET IT!Maybe in time they might see the light once the hypnosis wears off.

Massachusetts vote on Tue

I hope every American who is not happy with the results of the past year will go out and vote on Tue and elect Scott Brown their new Senator. It is time for those of us who love and care about our Constitution to take a stand and get rid of these liberals who are systematically destroying the fabric of our country. For reasons known only to them, they have taken on a mission to ruin the very way of life that has made America special throughout the world. Our next mission in Mass. needs to be getting rid of Barney Frank. This man who has caused a great deal of the financial meltdown in the housing market, yet he maintains his position in the house. He needs to be looking for another job, and the sooner the better.
Let's hope that Scott Brown can win by a large enough margin the liberals will have a hard time stealing this election. It was a little too easy for them in the Coleman/Frankin election to take that one away.
I'm really pleased to see that our "born again" Christian president, you know, the one who believed in God and had Jesus for his personal savior(long enough to get some Christian votes) went to church yesterday. Hooray to that! What is that? Two times, or three that he has been to church in the year he has been President?I think you can really judge his commitment to God by his regular attendence at church, and two or three times says it all.
So, go out Tue, Mass. residents. Take back your country starting by electing a Republican to the Senate. The nation is watching what happens there.

Healthcare still a mess

After spending time in the hospital last week, I am home and slowing getting my strength back. It once again comes to mind what is going to happen to me when this horrid monster healthcare bill is forced on us.

I am in failing health with a heart condition, and I believe that I will be one of the people that will be placed on an ice flow (like the old Eskimo) and left to die. I am not going to be given the wonderful care that I just received last week. I won't be given the option. I will be determined that it is not cost effective to save my life.

If these Liberals pass their looney healthcare bill I will be sent home and put to bed to die there. No measure to prolong my life will be permitted. It will be for my government to determine my time to live is over. It doesn't matter that I can still entertain a small child. That I can still participate in conversation, that I still have message to give or advice to dole out. No, my government will decide that my time is over. Up to this time I had always thought that issue was up to God. Little did I know that Obama, who puts himself above everyone else, that he would determine when my life was over. \

We must get every Conservative out there for the 2010 election. We need to turn this country around while there is something left for us to fight for. We can't let these people steal another election, or intimidate people into not voting. We need to get honest election judges and officials to make sure that Acorn doesn't get money to decided elections.

Republicans need to get the message that our party needs to be conservative and not push the wrong candidate this time. Stop pushing Gingrich. Many people don't know, or don't remember that he is very immoral, but some us still remember that he cheated on at least two of his ex-wives. Stop putting him out there in the forefront. He is morally bankrupt. We don't need a man like him running. The country let Clinton slide, but if Gingrich got in there, they would not him slide.

Let's work to get a good candidate running, get good people in place and vote. Push the conservative agenda and get the people registered. Let's take the tea party seriously. People are angry. Listen to the people.
